What we collect
We don’t ask you to create an account, and comments are turned off. We only collect information automatically when you visit, as described below.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. It collects information like your browser type, device, approximate location (city level) and pages visited, using cookies. We use this only to improve the site. You can learn how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out using Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (such as Amazon) may set cookies to record that you came from our site. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site. We never see your name, address or payment details.

Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses cookies for analytics (above), affiliate tracking (above), and logins for site administrators only. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Who we share data with
We don’t sell your personal information. Data is processed by the services that run the site: our web host (OVHcloud), Google Analytics, and affiliate partners such as Amazon when you click their links.

How long we keep data
Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings (14 months or less).

Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@thepackedparent.com. Because we don’t collect names or emails, we usually hold none.

Children
This site is written for parents and isn’t directed at children under 13.

Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change, and show the new date at the top.
